《早安美国》是美国广播公司在早晨播出的新闻与访谈类综合节目，1975年11月03日开播。每周一至周五播出两小时，第三小时由ABC News Now独家播出。本节目的特色为新闻、访谈、八卦、厨艺、天气以及其他有趣的故事。在位于纽约市的纽约广场摄影棚进行现场直播，并且由全国电视网联合播出。
2006年，曾在《早安美国》担任主播长达19年的查尔斯·吉布森(Charles Gibson)离开本节目，并成为《ABC世界新闻》当家主播。2009年，另一位资深主播黛安·索耶(Diane Sawyer）也离开了本节目。她接替退休的查尔斯·吉布森而成为《ABC世界新闻》的新主播。《早安美国》现任主播是罗宾·罗伯特(Robin Roberts)和乔治·斯蒂凡诺泼斯(George Stephanopoulos)。
从美国的媒体历史上来看，ABC的《早安美国》和NBC的《今天秀》(Today Show)是收视率最高的早晨新闻综合节目，远远超出美国其他同类节目。2007年，《早安美国》首次获得两座艾美奖，2008年再次获奖。

Good Morning America (GMA) is an American morning news and talk show that is broadcast on the ABC television network; it debuted on November 3, 1975. The weekday program airs for two hours; a third hour aired between 2007 and 2008 exclusively on ABC News Now. Its current one-hour weekend edition débuted in 2004.
The program features news, talk, weather and special-interest stories. The program is produced by the ABC News division for the network and broadcasts from the Times Square Studios in Times Square, New York City.
The program is hosted by Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos. Longtime co-anchor Charles Gibson left the program on June 28, 2006, to become the anchor of ABC World News, and Diane Sawyer left the program on December 11, 2009, to anchor the evening news program after Gibson retired.
GMA has traditionally run second in the ratings to NBC's Today since 1995, but overtook its rival for a period from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s under the anchor team of Gibson and Joan Lunden. GMA won the first three Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Morning Program, sharing the inaugural 2007 award with Today and winning the 2008 and 2009 awards outright.

George Stephanopoulos (Greek: Γεώργιος Στεφανόπουλος; born February 10, 1961) is an American television journalist and a former political adviser.
He is the chief political correspondent for ABC News — the news division of the broadcast television network ABC — and a co-anchor of ABC News's morning news program, Good Morning America (GMA). He was previously the host of This Week, ABC News's Sunday morning news program. He is the primary substitute anchor for ABC News's flagship news program, World News with Diane Sawyer.
In recent years he has co-hosted ABC News's special live coverage of political events with Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer, and has appeared regularly on GMA, World News, and launched "George's Bottom Line", an ABCNews.com blog.
Prior to joining ABC News, he was a senior political adviser to the 1992 U.S. presidential campaign of Bill Clinton and later became the White House Communications Director for two years, before being replaced by David Gergen after political fallout from the historic mid-term election of 1994, in which the Republican party took over the U.S. House and Senate.
